Product details

JWFroehlich Maschinenfabrik GmbH was founded in 1965 and is a member of the IWKA Group. The group's subsidiaries also include well-known manufacturers of general and specialized equipment such as LSW, B&K, EX-CELL-O, BOEHRINGER, GSN, KUKA, HASSIA, IWK, etc.

JWFROEHLICH company developed an automatic line for cylinder block and head assembly and leak testing as early as 1968. Subsequently, computer-controlled transmission and engine function testing systems were developed successively. After entering the 1990s, JWFROEHLICH company successfully developed a engine cold testing system using modern technology and quickly promoted it. During this period, various leak testers with different measurement principles were also developed and continuously upgraded, and their performance and quality are at the forefront of the world. For decades, JWFROEHLICH has provided a large amount of equipment and technical support to well-known automobile manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Ford, Opel, Volvo, and General Motors, enjoying a high reputation in the industry.

Based on the pressure drop method and flow rate method, flexible and accurate leak testing solutions can be configured according to the testing requirements for both standard testing and complex structure testing.

One pressure drop method: relative pressure method and differential pressure method

1. Relative pressure method:

Air is applied to the test item, and after the calibration phase, possible leaks are determined through pressure sensors. Due to the fact that the pressure sensor is only loaded on one side, the applicable test pressure is limited, and the relative pressure method is usually suitable for small and medium-sized tests with sufficient time.

Test pressure:- 0.8 to 4 bar

Test workpieces: cylinder head, cylinder block, oil passage, conduit, etc

2. Differential pressure method:

Air is applied to the test item, and after the calibration phase, possible leaks are determined through a differential pressure sensor. Due to the fact that the sensor is compressed on both sides, it can achieve a high test pressure of up to 20 bar and has a very high measurement resolution. Therefore, the differential pressure method is suitable for high pressure and low limit leakage testing.

Test pressure:- 0.8 to 20 bar

Test workpieces: fuel pipe, transmission housing, compressor
